Student Research Opportunities
The Center for Intervention Research in Schools (CIRS) is an internationally recognized, interdisciplinary research center that integrates training and service into all activities. Our goal is to improve the lives of children (early childhood through emerging adulthood) who struggle with emotional and behavioral challenges through school-based interventions and supports.
CIRS is home to highly productive faculty, representing four colleges and departments within 俄亥俄州 — The College of Arts and Science, Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine and the Scripps College of Communications. CIRS is made up of four full-time staff members, 12 graduate students and multiple undergraduate research assistants.
CIRS has office space in 雅典 and Columbus. CIRS faculty have received over $29 million in federal grants (e.g., NIMH, NIAAA, IES, NSF, PCORI, CDC) since our inception in 2012.
