The Department of 教师教育 offers a variety of programs to help you achieve your professional goals, including teaching license endorsements, online professional development for mentor teachers, 硕士项目, 还有博士课程.
代言
童年中期 Generalist Endorsement
童年中期 teachers are licensed to teach in two content areas (Language Arts, 数学, 科学, or Social Studies) in grades 4-9. The Generalist Endorsement allows licensed 童年中期 teachers to add one or two additional content areas for grades 4-6.
Pre-K Special Needs Endorsement
This program will help to ensure that there are a sufficient number of fully credentialed and well-prepared teachers to instruct preschool children with disabilities and developmental delays so that the quality of instructional services received by children and their families is resolute. Early childhood teachers and intervention specialists will benefit from the PKSN program by acquiring advanced knowledge and skills to enhance early educational opportunities for preschool children with special needs.

The 阅读背书 enhances your knowledge and instructional skill in reading and writing beyond the foundation required of beginning teachers. This program is designed for licensed teachers who wish to add the 阅读背书 to their current teaching license.
Professional Development and Outreach
连接ing Math to the Real World Project
连接ing Math to the Real World is an NSF-funded, three-year project focused on collaborating with teachers to make elementary mathematics meaningful and applicable inside and outside of the classroom by connecting math to real-world topics, including current events and societal issues that are relevant to students’ lives.
